Typical river corridor conditions in the Braided Reach upstream from Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
| | RDG was retained by the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho to evaluate historical, current, and potential river corridor conditions on 55 miles of the Kootenai River. RDG is a member of a larger restoration team tasked with developing a restoration plan for rehabilitating Kootenai River white sturgeon, a federally-listed endangered species. Preliminary work has included developing hydraulic models to compare current and historical conditions, sediment transport relationships, and investigating potential river corridor and hydro system modifications.
