Ashby Creek floodplain pre-project.
|  | In cooperation with NRCS, FWP and Big Blackfoot Trout Unlimited, RDG prepared a restoration plan to reconstruct three miles of Ashby Creek near Potomac, MT. The project was implemented in 2006. Project components included reconstructing the historical channel pattern, increasing fish habitat and riparian plant community diversity, and improving fish passage. A coanda-effect wedge wire screen was installed on a rock cross vane to maintain the landowner’s irrigation intake while also improving fish passage.
