In cooperation with project stakeholders, RDG prepared a restoration plan for the Clark Fork River and Blackfoot River following removal of Milltown Dam.  The plan presents restoration strategies for reconstructing three miles of a naturally functioning river system on the Clark Fork River.  Plan components included a preliminary layout and design criteria for channel, floodplain, wetland and revegetation efforts.  In support of the plan’s recommendations, RDG completed hydrologic and geomorphic assessments, evaluated channel stability and developed design dimensions using field-based techniques and analytical modeling.
