Proposed pond layout for Budeau Chub Pond
| | The Budeau Chub Pond Project involves design and construction of a new pond and water control structure, replacing the spillway of an existing pond with a new water control structure, and construction of a grass-vegetated swale to replace a drainage ditch. The new pond was designed as an earthen embankment. The two ponds will be used for the endangered Oregon Chub (Oregonichthys crameri) re-introduction within the context of on-site wetlands as part of an NRCS Wetland Reserve Program. Construction will be completed during summer 2008 by the USFW Partners for Wildlife Program.
